An amazing adventure awaits guests of all ages in this giant arena of columns and beams. The walls of the arena are completely themed with giant murals and black light illusions for an out of this world experience. The music, lasers, and fog need to be experienced to fully understand the fun. Nickel City's Laser City was awarded the industry's top award for design and playability in 2010.
Our recipe was developed by a graduate of the prestigious Johnson and Wales Culinary Arts School. We use a gourmet blend of fine whole milk cheeses: mozzarella, aged white cheddar, fresh provolone, parmesan, and romano. Our dough is made from hard red winter wheat to give it the proper texture and rise. The toppings are all natural, without MSG. Our favorable sauce is made of vine ripened tomatoes. Our produce is fresh, locally sourced, and cut daily.

When the creator of Nickel City was growing up in the West his best memories were going to the local fun center and winning tickets; however, his outings were too expensive. His dollar bills would quickly be lost at the bottom of an arcade game within 10 minutes. For years he has thought back to those memories and the fun he had playing arcade games with his family. He thinks about the fun prizes he collected and the scrumptious candy he stuffed into his pockets after redeeming his tickets. He has always wanted children to have the same memories he did, but to create more memories while spending less.
The owner always dreamed of having his own business. His dream came true when he opened his first facility several years ago. By opening the store, he was able to fulfill his dream of owning an arcade and giving back to children. The award-winning laser tag arena and City Pizzeria set Nickel City apart from its competition.
The owner’s goal is to give customer’s value for the money they spend, especially in an economy where many have a smaller disposable budget. The owner strives to ensure the games are in tiptop shape.
Nickel City has many of the most popular current games as well as some of the classics. Ms. Pac Man is just one of the games the owner has in his home although he rarely plays it there because it’s just not the same experience at home. He said, “It’s like watching a movie…you can either watch it at home or at a theatre, but the experience is always better at a theatre.” The sounds retained in the owner’s memory as a boy are those of clattering balls moving up the Skeeball ramp, the hum of cars racing around the animated track, and most of all the giggles of children as tickets were streaming out of the games. The owner looks forward to seeing guests with smiles on their faces creating wonderful memories with family and friends similar to his memories as a boy.
